Important: Tax Liability
As an Independent Contractor, you are **solely responsible** for paying all applicable income taxes and other state levies in Sri Lanka from your 80% commission.
Intellectual Property (IP)
This section clarifies the ownership and usage rights for the course content you create. This is a key part of your agreement.
Your Ownership
The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for the course content you create **remain with you.**
You are the owner of your videos, lesson plans, quizzes, and materials.
UniSchool's License
You grant UniSchool a **non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license.**
This license allows UniSchool to market, sell, distribute, and grant student access to your content as long as it's active on the platform.
Agreement Terms
This covers the rules for ending the agreement and how terms can be updated.
- Either party (you or UniSchool) can terminate the agreement with **30 days' advance notice** by mail.
- UniSchool may terminate the agreement **immediately** if you commit a material breach, fail to meet content standards, or display gross misconduct.
UniSchool reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. If a material change occurs, you will be notified (e.g., by email or a platform notice).
Your continued use of the platform after changes become effective means you accept those changes.
