Terms and Conditions – UniSchool (PVT) LTD

By accessing our website (unischool.lk) or purchasing our products and services, you explicitly agree to the following terms, which are designed to protect the business interests of UniSchool (PVT) LTD.
1. Intellectual Property & Ownership
All software, plugins (including Smart SMS Notify Pro and WhatsApp Widget Pro), code snippets, and educational materials are the exclusive property of UniSchool (PVT) LTD.
- No Ownership Transfer: A purchase grants you a limited license to use the product; it does not transfer ownership of the source code.
- Prohibited Actions: You are strictly prohibited from copying, modifying, reselling, or reverse-engineering any UniSchool property.
- Usage Rights: Any unauthorized use or distribution will result in immediate legal action and permanent license cancellation.
2. Licensing & Access Control
License Types: We offer Annual Subscriptions (valid for 1 year) and Lifetime Access as defined at the time of purchase.
- Authentication: All products must be validated via the UniSchool License Gateway.
- Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to deactivate any license without prior notice if we detect fraudulent activity, license sharing, or attempts to bypass our security systems.
3. Strict Limitation of Liability
UniSchool (PVT) LTD, its directors, and employees shall not be liable for any financial losses, business interruptions, data loss, or any indirect damages arising from the use of our software or services.
- “As Is” Basis: Our products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind.
- Compatibility: We do not guarantee that our products will work with all third-party themes, plugins, or future WordPress updates.
4. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations
Service Fees: All payments for professional services (e.g., custom coding, training, and ICT consultations) are strictly non-refundable.
- Plugin Refunds: A 30-day money-back guarantee applies only to software defects that our support team cannot resolve. “Change of mind” is not a valid reason for a refund.
- Lifetime Licenses: After the initial 30-day window, Lifetime Access purchases are final and non-refundable.
5. Third-Party Risks
Our tools integrate with third-party platforms such as Notify.lk and WhatsApp.
- No Liability for External Failures: UniSchool (PVT) LTD is not responsible for any downtime, price increases, or service changes initiated by these third-party providers.
6. Termination of User Access
We reserve the absolute right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and cancel licenses for users who:
- Violate any part of these Terms and Conditions.
- Engage in behavior that is harmful to the reputation of UniSchool (PVT) LTD.
- Fail to make timely payments for recurring services.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any legal disputes or claims shall be handled exclusively within the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
8. Modification of Terms
- UniSchool (PVT) LTD reserves the right to change these terms at any time to adapt to new business needs or legal requirements. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any such changes.
